Braxton Olita – How Would You Feel

What started with walking around New York with friend Justin Potter,
ended with a music video for the song How Would You Feel!

On a day off from The 30 Seconds To Mars 2010 US tour,
we woke with wanting to capture a raw live acoustic video
walking through the city streets or NYC.

Our only real goal was to capture something organic with a “One Shot” of film.
The vulnerability of no editing seemed like something real life and fun so we went for it.

It was the ultimate mission trying to figure out when to start in time for the heavy NYC traffic to hit a red light…
meanwhile setting up a boost off of the trash can to explode downbeat of the First Chorus.
Maybe 200 takes of almost getting crushed by traffic and missing the chorus were getting there.

I think the most fun had was us trying to figure out
how to time cameras framing & panning for each spot,
meanwhile never letting the camera look into the golden setting sun until the closing shot.

One broken guitar, 8,000 takes later of almost getting hit by cars, trucks, & bicycles
we were getting somewhere.

Hello Braxton …my english is inmperfect so i’m gonna write in spanish ajajajajajja ..me parece un buen experimento por lo que entendí me parece que es un video experimento, no?? , es decir que en un día de descanso empezaron a grabar un “one shot” y bueno …me parece bien o bueno en realidad me encantan los planos desenfocados que utilizan, es genial que realizen esto en su tiempo libre , aqui donde vivo , humm mucho no se puede hacer , me encanta!!! sería genial trabajar con personas que se dediquen a hacer este tipo de trabajos …les deseo lo mejor y espero nos comuniquemos para intercambiar comentarios …kisses
